This week is also sneak peek week. Ian and I got in on Sunday afternoon after a week in Cleveland, OH and of course, I have no samples ready for the sneak peek. But I know that the Design Team will! I was exhausted when we got home and slept for 3 hours, I would have sleep on our flight from Chicago to Calgary but the man sitting next to me had his elbow in my ribs the whole flight and no matter what I did he wouldn't move it. It was a long 3 hours and 37 minutes! To make matters worse I have to leave at 6:30 am today to head out for a 2 day planning session in Kananaskis with my team from work, it's only one night away but that night is my 1st wedding anniversary. Oh well, we celebrated in Cleveland and we've known this for months. I will be back on Tuesday night to make some sneak peek samples as well as finish up the scrapbook I somehow ended up making for my Team Lead that is leaving the group. Too many things on my plate at the moment.

I will leave you with this one last Riley card that I have in my stash - which is now empty!

Handy Hanna and a Release Party!

This is the second set being released tonight at midnight EST from Hanna Stamps. 'Tool Time' is a great handy girl set. In my picture, Hanna has painted and hung a picture from Paris - you know she was in Paris recently!

Blog Contest for 15K - Color Challenge

I love using different color combos but, lately I am finding that regal rose and pretty in pink are in all my cards. So my mission, is to not use those colors for the rest of the month. (though I have 3 cards from this weekend that will be posted this week that use those colors!, though I promised stamp club pink and brown only at the end of the month!)

Today is it! - 10,001 Hits!

Today, November 30, 2007 is the officially day in which my blog counter crossed the magic number of 10,001.

Back at the end of October, I had a guessing game in which I ask my readers to guess the date I would hit 10,001. A mere five weeks later this event has happened. It was a close race - there were 37 entries.

Thanks so much for all your hits. I personally didn't expect that the 2,700 hits would come in so fast but I attribute that too being on the Hanna Stamps Design Team, having Allison advertise my blog candy on her blog and our recent Thankful for Hanna stamp give away courtesy of Kristi and Hanna Stamps. Plus I think now that the wedding is over I've been crafting more.

Ian is away until Dec 11th for work so I've lots of time these next 2 weeks for xmas projects and lots of crafting. I'm so excited but can't decide what to do first.

Thankful for Hanna! - Blog Candy

You were a beautiful bride! Congrats to both of you:) I was married 3/26/76 and the colors were pink & white. YUK - I'm sure the ushers HATED wearing those pink accessories. Not my taste anymore, but I thought it was absolutely fabulous at the time. I changed my name because his is only 4 letters and quick to write checks:)

Blog Candy

Well my wedding has come and gone and we finally have our house organized and back looking like the home we lived in before the wedding took control of our lives. I'm not sure how many realize that I started a new job on the 4th of September and then the wedding was the 29th of September so its been a busy 6 weeks for me.

I hope to download the camera tonight and get new things up for my one or two followers. I have a 6 am flight tomorrow to Edmonton then we are driving 5 hours to the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range as that is the area I am now a production engineer for EnCana. I will be staying in the operator camp on the base for the rest of the week as we do some gas well reviews with the operations team. So, there will be no stamping time. I was hoping to get some images stamped and perhaps take along my markers and try to get a little something going - if not then I will be reading in our downtime.

Canada Post has officially lost my Hanna Stamps. Kristi mailed me a new set last week so hopefully they will arrive this week and I can fulfill my design team duty and create a few things with Hanna.

Because I'm going to be away and I haven't had any blog candy in awhile nor have I been a very good craft blogger. I am going to offer up a treat (aka bribe) to get my readers back with me. I have one last 'Delight in Life' set from Sell-a-bration left new and unmounted!

Calgary Blog Candy winner

I had '3' comments from Calgarians. I had hoped for more responses here and on CST so although I have all positive responses - I am a little leary of planning this event and not having the attendance. I'll have to think on this a bit more!

Stamp and Scrap Night in Calgary? with Blog Candy

HELP FROM CALGARIANS IS NEEDED - ANSWER MY POLL WHICH GETS YOU IN FOR A CALGARY ONLY BLOG CANDY!

I am walking in the Weekend to End Breast Cancer at the end of July and my team and I have come up with a fundraiser in which the proceeds from the event would go to our team for the Walk - "Getting Juggie with it". (Please visit my participation page to learn more about the event)

We would like to host a Stamp and Scrap Event on a Saturday night in June from 4pm-midnight. Dinner would be included in the cost. We are looking a local community centre in Calgary to rent and would be approaching local vendors for donations so that we could do a raffle as well.

We are proposing that the event would cost $40 for the evening, includes 8 hours of stamp/scrap time, door prizes and dinner for the night. The raffle would be in addition fundraiser.

So, if you are from Calgary and area - please answer my poll by leaving me a comment.
