Changito ....

It's been 2 weeks since I have posted not too bad. I still haven't been stamping much. I've taught at the Scrapbook Pantry 3 times though and have one more class this month on Friday am. I've been enjoying teaching the classes. I hope my students have enjoyed taking them. Monday is a day off in Alberta for Family Day, I need no excuse for another day off work.

I made this Changito card back in January at Nancy's house one Saturday afternoon. I think it took me 3 hours to make between all the chit chat.

Butterfly Wishes

Its a gorgeous 4 day weekend for me - no work until July 2. Ian went to Edmonton to visit his friend, Chris last night. I read the majority of Fearless Fourteen the newest release in the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich - I'm almost done so I won't have any Plum again until June next year. I started today out by getting my hair highlighted and cut. I got it cut up to my shoulders. I will get Ian to take a picture once he is home - Thanks Nancy so much for your referral to Stacy. I am so happy with my hair and at a fraction of the price of where I used to go which had changed ownership. I am off now to get some more bedding plants as my pots are pathetic - I had a lot root rot due to all the rain we had and I can't stand how green and ugly they look so I am going to fill them up.

This card is the 3rd card we made when I was teaching last weekend.

I have started on finishing up my New Rileys as well as the sneak peeks for the Hanna release on July 4th.

I hope to be back with some new Riley cards tomorrow to get you warmed up for the new Hanna release.

Mono Dragnonfly Dream

I can't seem to use purple in my card making unless I go with a monochromatic color scheme. What color combos do you use with purples?

This was the 2nd card we made at the stamp class I did in Saskatchewan as well as my stamp club the other night.

It's Friday - Ian is gone until Sunday so I think I am going to do some stamping ... I have to clean my room first tonight so that I can find my supplies. I have some Magnolia stamps that need to be stamped. Plus my new colored Riley's need to find some paper!

Supplies
Stamps: Dragonfly - Stampendous, Dream - Hampton Art Stamps, Paisley BG - SU
Paper: elegant eggplant, pale plum, perfect plum, whisper white
Ink: Versamagic Dew Drops
Accessories: Orchid ribbon (SU-retired), Prima flowers, Mike's $1.50 bin rhinestones
