On February 11 @ 8:50 am, my oldest and bestest friend in the world had a baby boy. Carmen and Gord welcomed Samuel Gordon Corbett into the world at 8 lbs 2 oz. The little guy gave us a bit of a scare and stayed in the NICU for the first 10 days of his life but now he is a fast growing 3 1/2 month old little boy that can light up any world.
I made this card for the new parents in February but haven't shared it until now. I also have a picture to go along as Carmen and Sam had coffee with my Mom and I before we left to Camp Caroline and the Scrapbook Your Heart Retreat (more on that later).
Anyhow, this is Sam. I am sad to say that by the fall, Carmen and family will be moving to the Edmonton area as her husband is an RCMP officer and has taken a transfer as the team lead for the Emergency Response Team.

What a cutie Sam is! So sorry to hear that they're moving away...I know all about as it's either us moving or other military friends that are being posted elsewhere. I know it sucks, but you can still keep in touch.
