Calendar Chick

This is a card a made a few weeks back (also part of the ones I took forever to photography) using Beate's weekend sketch challenge 30. I didn't get it done in time for her weekly contest.

I'm not sure I really like it though as this sketch wasn't my style at all. However, this year is about stepping out of my stamping box and trying new things.

Supplies
Stamps: Calendar Chick - Stampendous, Sentiment - Penny Black
Paper: regal rose, so saffron, whisper white, blue bayou
Patterned paper: Two Scoops - Basic Grey
Ink: palette noir, SU markers to watercolor
Accessories: stickles on flowers, Jesse James glitter embellishment, Basic Grey Two scoops exopy brads, SU photo corner punch, circle nestabilities

Well I think it looks great! Funny how when we do something that is outside our own comfort zone we feel that it is not 'perfect'! ;0)

I think this card looks great, too! Any card works with Two Scoops in my opinion. I think I need to go find that sketch and use it.
