THE MOOSE ARE LOOSE!
By popular demand, Kristi released Riley last night ahead of schedule! Go check out the new line by Hanna Stamps that were released last night. There are 6 Riley Moose stamps available woodmounted, and then these stamps are also available unmounted red rubber. This Coffee Riley Moose card was made using the SCS color challenge from a few weeks back, CC149. The challenge was to use rose red, apricot appeal and sage shadow. The colors look really good together. I also use a piece from the Hodgepodge Hardware set for a closure on my card.

Ruby slippers!
These are Hanna's ruby slippers but instead of clicking them together to go home, she just wants to get to the mall. I had this idea in my head from back when the first Hanna Stamps set was released called 'But I need it'.
I love how the card came out. The paper is a 8x8 stack from DCVW that I got from Mike's on clearance for $12 (then used a 50% off coupon). The red shoes are colored with a clear glitter pen to make them sparkle.
I've been cleaning my stamp room for most of the day.... almost done the reorganization. However, Sunday will be dedicated to cleaning house so hopefully I can get to use it Sunday evening!
Supplies
Stamps: But I need it - Hanna Stamps
Paper: real red, whisper white, basic black SU
Patterned paper: All Dressed Up - DCVW
Ink: Palette noir, SU markers to watercolor
Accessories: Nestabilities circles, SU real red 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, Prima Espirit Flowers red, SU rhinestone circle brad - fire, clear glitter pen

What Shannon Means?
What Shannon Means |
You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong. You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know. You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do. You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out. Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia. Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person. You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality. You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals. You are well rounded, with a complete perspective on life. You are solid and dependable. You are loyal, and people can count on you. At times, you can be a bit too serious. You tend to put too much pressure on yourself. |

It worked!
When I got my cuttlebug, I got a few of the 2x2 embossing folders but when I used it I got an embossed square around it so I never used them again. Then the other day my friend, Nancy made this card with her 2x2 folders and it worked. I emailed her and she said there was no secret it just worked this time. Well, I thought I would try it and mine worked as well!
I also took a pointer from Nancy to use a numbering system for my 2008 cards. You can see here post about this here. This is card #2008-003! I really would like to create 120 cards this year (different cards that is) which would mean 10 per month. I think I can do that!
Do you like my watermark? I made it myself.
Supplies
Stamps: sentiment from Blossoms Around - SU!
Ink: Pallette Noir, SU! markers to watercolor
Paper: regal rose, natural white
Patterned paper: K&Co (costco slab)
Accessories: Cuttlebug 2x2 embossing folder, pretty in pink tafetta ribbon, Espirit Primas, bling from Mike's $1 bins ($1.50 in Canada)

Once upon a time ....
I made 3 cards tonight and I am happy to say that they all will work for Barb's bingo! Though I will be posting them over the next couple of days.
The current challenge for the bingo is to make stamps using Bellas. I haven't used my bellas in awhile and many of them have never seen ink (sorry Bella!). This is bookwormabella from Stamping Bella. I love books ... the best book I read in 2007 was called 'Sweetness in the Belly' and next would be 'Twilight'. So far this year, I've only read one book but I am currently reading 'Saving Fish from Drowning' by Amy Tan. What are you reading?
Supplies
Stamps: Stamping Bella
Ink: pallette noir, SU! markers to watercolor
Paper: Natural whites
Patterned Paper: K&Co (Costco slab)
Accessories: large nestie to emboss, prima flowers, pearl embellishments
ETA: I've been asked in a comment (anomymous) where I got the flowers on this card. The flowers on this card are Prima Sprites Collection Lavendar - you can find them at All That Scraps though I got them at my LSS. I then put in pearl embellishments for the flower center.

Sexy and Sassy Hanna
This is my official first card of 2008, the last two Hanna's were made at the end of 2007. Hanna is going out for a night on the town with her real red lipstick and printed dress. Her red stickles bag stands out against her dress and she on matching black diamond stickles shoes and earrings.
The Sweet Celebrations set from Hanna Stamps is now available for purchase. Below I have shown you a picture of the full set of 14 stamps. I still have one other design in my head that I hope to get out on Friday.
Supplies
Stamps: Sweet Celebrations - Hanna Stamps
Paper: real red, basic black, very vanilla
Patterned paper: All Dressed Up by DCWV (the 8x8 pad was discounted at Mike's for $12 then I used a 50% coupon so for $6 I got some awesome funky papers plus the epoxy stickers were $1.50 so you will see a lot more of this paper with those stickers)

Accessories: double stitchee black ribbon from Mike's, 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" circle punches, Big Glitter Dots (Black) by Jesse James (love these things - I've got quite a few of the big and original sized dots now), xmas red and black diamond Stickles

It's a Girl!
I always like to keep a girl and a boy baby card on hand. Well I've exhausted my supply and I thought this teddy made the perfect baby card. I started out with a white cuttlebugged background and inked up the embossed layer with regal rose ink. I stamped the hearts in regal rose and then watercoloured them with regal rose. Stamped, watercoloured and cut out the teddy and hearts. Very simple card finished off with chocolate chip taffeta ribbon. I think I will repeat this card in blue!
All the stamps used on the card are from the new release for Hanna Stamps available tomorrow. The set is called 'Celebrations' with a focus on Valentine's but it is very easy to use for a lot of different occassions.
Supplies
Stamps: Celebrations - Hanna Stamps
Paper: whisper white, regal rose
Ink: Pallette Noir, regal rose
Markers: regal rose, chocolate chip
Accessories: cuttlebug, chocolate chip taffeta ribbon

Infused Celebrations
Happy New Year everyone! We've been back from Saskatchewan since Friday, Dec 28th however, I haven't posted. I've even had a couple cards complete for the new Hanna Stamps release done before Saskatchewan but was too lazy to find the camera in my messy stamp room.
Santa Ian was very good to me. I got a Saskatchewan Roughriders jersey with #2 Grant - Grant is a player on the team however, it is also my maiden name so if he gets traded the jersey still means a lot to me. I also got a gorgeous jewelery box from Ian its huge and so pretty - I'll take a picture of it when I get it all set up. I also got various other things really too many to list! Most importantly I won $140 at Casino Regina the Saturday before Christmas, so I think that mean I'll be getting another 2 sets of nestabilities as I got a bit of cash for Christmas as well.
My first love in life is Ian, though he might say my cat, Missie. She's just been here longer than him but doesn't buy me diamonds so Ian wins. Next to that it might be Basic Grey paper ... ok patterened paper in general.
This card was made with the new set from Hanna Stamps called 'Celebrations'. It will be released on Friday, January 4th. I have my hands on the next few stamps and you guys aren't going to be disappointed they are great.
Supplies
Stamps: Celebrations - Hanna Stamps
Paper: old olive, regal rose, whisper white
Patterned Paper: Infuse - Basic Grey
Ink: regal rose, Palette Noir - SU markers for watercolouring - blush blossom, chocolate chip
Accessories: clear glitter pen, pretty in pink tafetta ribbon, Creative Impressions silver spiral clip, Creative Imaginace white flower, Prima rhinestone
ETA: I made a mistake the flower is actually Creative Imaginace not Bazzill!
