Happy Birthday Mom!

This was my Mom's real birthday card - it also included two tickets to Rent which is coming to Calgary at the end of May plus dinner out before the Broadway show. The catch was she had to take me and of course get to Calgary from Regina but that is never a problem. We love our mother-daughter weekends.

Stamps: SU - Blossoms Abound
Paper: SU blue bayou, soft sky, natural white
Patterned Paper: Heidi Grace
Ink: SU blue bayou, soft sky
Accessories: Oval Nestabilities, Pearl brad - Creative Imaginasce, bashful blue tafetta ribbon

What a pretty card! Your story about the gift made me laugh; my mom's birthday is at the end of the month and I called her in December and said "If I buy us tickets to a concert for your birthday, will you fly down?" Of course she said yes. She'll be here in a week and we'll have a fun girls' weekend! I hope you and your mom have a great time.

This is gorgeous, Shannon! I bet your Mum loved it and I hope you had a fabulous time with her.

My Mum just spent the week with me and we had a great time. I treasure the time that I can spend with her, we really are the best of friends. :)

Hope you have a great day!

Yes, the card is definitely beautifu and very special to my heart as each card is that Shannon makes for me. I stamp also but not to the extend of my daughter and her talent far exceeds my. Plus I am so excited for the gift she gave me for my I'm counting the days and weeks until the time comes. Thank you again Shannon....your the best daughter a Mom could have.
